Joan E. Clark

Loudonville-Joan E. Clark, 83, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, NY on August 16, 1934, Joan was the daughter of the late Lydell and Rosa (Hathaway) Ehemann. She married Richard Clark in 1952. Together they raised their family in Loudonville. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Joan enjoyed spending time with her family. She liked coffee clatching with her friends and neighbors, shopping and old movies.
In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Richard Clark. She is survived by her children: Daniel Clark and Kathleen (Keith) Cook; her grandchildren: Michael (Stephanie) Cook, Alexander Cook and Stephanie Cook. Many thanks to her close friend and neighbor Shirley, for her kindness and love over the years.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 11:30 am on Thursday, September 21 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A graveside service will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joan's name to a charity of one's choice.
