RENSSELAER – Joan A. Corliss, 78, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen Welter.
Joan was predeceased by his husband of 36 years, Richard Corliss, and siblings Harold, Joseph, James, Helen, Kate, Loretta, Agnes and Dorothy.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 9:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
