Albany – Jessie M. Peavy, 84, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday December 7, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She is the wife of the late Loveless Peavy.
Jessie loved to spend her time fishing, and working in her garden growing collard greens.
Jessie leaves to mourn seven children, seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Charlie M. Freeman.
Funeral services for Jessie will be held Friday December 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 236 N. Pearl St. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
