Jesse I. Taber, Jr.
October 10, 1943 — May 23, 2015
RAVENA-Jesse I. Taber, Jr., 71, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 23, 2015. The son of the late Jesse I. Taber, Sr. and Lois (Crosier). A retired member of Local #40 of the Heat and Frost Insulators. He served in the US Navy. Jesse coached the travel team for Ravena Lanes.
Jesse is survived by his beloved wife Deanna (Dunn) Taber; his loving children Darren R. Taber (Mary), Adam J. Taber (Karen), Calvin E. Taber (Mary), Matthew A. Taber and Barbara Jean. Popsie is also survived by his cherished 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He also leaves behind his sisters Elizabeth "Betty" Taber Geeseman, Janet Taber Westervelt, and Joan Taber Haresign (Steve) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2015 with a funeral service to immediately follow at 7 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ravena Rescue, 1 Bruno Blvd., Ravena, NY 12143 in memory of Jesse.
