Jeffrey Michael Ridgeway

Jeffrey Michael Ridgeway, 21, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
He was raised in Schenectady, the son of David Ridgeway Jr. and Nicole Zigler.
Jeff graduated from Niskayuna High School and continued his education at Hudson Valley Community College.
He attended Abounding Grace Christian Church and was a member of the OC Ski Club. He was passionate about snowboarding and keeping his body healthy through exercise. Jeff's true happiness came when sitting at the dinner table with family.
He was a kind, loving, thoughtful young man and a tenacious hard worker. He will be sorely missed.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his grandparents, David J. (Dollie Hess) Ridgeway, Sr., Donna (John) Marshall and John and Beatrice Sano. He is the brother of Ashlee Sano, Jennifer L. Ridgeway, Connor Sorensen, Isabelle Ridgeway and Jaclyn Ridgeway. He is also survived by his special mentor, George Kozer, Julia Kozer and Mary Lynn Olbrych and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Calling hour will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A funeral service will follow the calling hour at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL. 33607 in Jeffrey's memory.
