Jean G. Almindo

New Baltimore - Jean G. Almindo, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born on July 26, 1938 in Manhattan, NY and was the daughter of the late George and Lydia A. (McLaughlin) Burnett.

Jean was a high school graduate of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk and was a realtor for Scarborough Realty for many years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid NY Yankees fan.

Jean is survived by her loving children, Shelly (Bill) Fitch, Steven (Michelle) Almindo and James (Dena) Almindo; her cherished grandchildren, Joseph (Mel) Carnibucci, Jordan (Jaida) Carnibucci, Steven (Ashley) Almindo, Kyle (Megan) Almindo and Bailey Almindo and her adored great grandchildren, Lily, Madilyn, and Amilya Carnibucci, Giana, Jino, and Natalia Carnibucci, Camden Almindo, Riley and Ava Almindo. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James P. Almindo and her sister, Carol Persico.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jean on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. Calling hours will be held prior from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery in New Baltimore in the Spring of 2026.
