Janice C. Leonard

Janice Leonard passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Don Leonard and the devoted daughter of the late John and Angie Rossetti.

Janice was predeceased by her sister, Linda Pacelli. She is survived by her brother, David Rossetti, and sister-in-law, Teri Rossetti; her nephews and nieces David Rossetti, Pam Rossetti, Brandon Rossetti, Megan Rossetti, Eben Pacelli, and Karen Pacelli; as well as Kristina Ryan and David Ryan.

She is also survived by her grand-nephews Jonathan Rossetti, Antonio Rossetti, Vincent Rossetti, Connor Ryan, Caleb Pacelli, and Jack Pacelli; and her grand-nieces Kaitlin Barksdale, Kacie Burton, Ella Robinson, Amelia Barksdale, and Sawyer Burton.

Janice retired from the New York State Office of General Services (NYS OGS) after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, she most enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, and simply being together with the people she loved.

She was a devoted volunteer with the City Mission, giving her time and care generously to others in her community.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janice’s memory to the City Mission of Schenectady.

A celebration of Janice’s life will be held at a later date.
