Janet G. Valentino

Janet G. Valentino, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at The Troy Victorian Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. Janet was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (Finkle) Bisner. She was the devoted wife to the late Rudolph J. Valentino. They were married 35 years.

She loved dancing, enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to cook.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Janet is survived by her children, Michael (Debi) Valentino and Robyn Cusack. She was the adored grandmother of Ryan Cusack, Kasey (Shawn) Higgins, D'Arcy Valentino, Brett Valentino and Amy Wyrshyhora. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Riley Cusack, Abigail Cusack, Rudy Valentino and Tyler Wagner.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road Watervliet, NY on Wednesday July 29, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Garden's, Colonie, NY where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
