Jane M. Warren

Jane M. Warren, 83, of Colonie, New York passed away peacefully on June 30th, 2026. She was born on October 27th, 1942 in Albany to Thomas and Catherine Appio. She lived her childhood and adolescent life with her five loving sisters and went on to have a fulfilling career as a clerk for New York State.

She married the love of her life, James (Jim) Warren and they shared a beautiful married life for nearly sixty wonderful years. Jane and Jim loved to travel and visit new places, but Jane’s favorite thing to do was spend quality time with her family and friends. Jane is best remembered for her profound generosity and kindness. Her family fondly remembers Jane’s adoration of playing the game Bingo, especially around holidays.

She is survived by sisters Theresa Watrous, Deb (Mark) Blaauboer, Diana Trombley, and their children. She is also survived by numerous friends and loved ones not listed above.

She was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Catherine Appio, husband James (Jim) Warren, and sisters Cathy Appio and Patricia McBride.

A memorial service will be held on July 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205. All who knew Jane are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Community Hospice in memory of Jane.
