James H. Allen Iii

Albany- James H. Allen III, 81, passed away peacefully on, Sunday, October 22, 2017. He was the son of the late James H. and Lillian Allen. He is also predeceased by his wife, Esther M. Allen and his son John H. Allen.

James is survived by his children, James H. Allen, Denise M. Allen-Richards, William H. Allen, Sharon M. Weisburgh (Richard), Richard H. Allen, Janice M. Breen (Brendan), Patrick H. Allen (Jessica McGivern, David H. Allen (Tammy). James is also survived by his daughter in law Kathy Allen.

James also leaves behind his grandchildren, Christy and James "Jake" Allen, Jarrett Richards, Claire Richards, Jennifer Allen, Donna Allen, William Allen, Alysha Allen, Dakota Allen, Samantha Parent, Casey Weisburgh, John Allen, Laura Allen, Shannon Breen, Ethan Breen, Declan Breen, Nicolette Allen, Giovanna Allen, Cora Allen and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his children and grandchildren James is survived by his siblings, Margaret Bradley, Susan Nathan, Kathleen Rosecrans and Karen Coulter.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 10:00am-11:00am at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home with interment following at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
