Jacqueline M. Walter

Jacqueline Walter, 87, passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was born in Rensselaer, to the late Dolphis and Margaret Boucher. After graduation she married the love of her life Richard G Walter and they had 54 years together. She was a homemaker and secretary at their family business. 

Jackie enjoyed talking to her friends, laughing out loud and singing at the top of her lungs, but mostly she loved being with her husband and children. Faith and family were most important in her life. 

In addition to her husband, Jackie was predeceased by her son Richard G. Walter Jr. brother Dolphis Boucher, sister Marie Foote. She is survived by her 6 children, Donna M. Wilber (Robert B. Wilber Jr.), Daniel Walter (Cyndi), Kenneth Walter (Susan), Wayne Walter (Michelle), Matthew Walter (Dorothy) and Bruce Walter, as well as 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and her sister Lorraine Connelly (Dennis).

Calling hours will be held on Friday December 20th from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 21st at 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Church 2777 Albany St. Schenectady. 

Interment immediately following in Memory Gardens Cemetery Colonie.
