SCHENECTADY – Jacob E. Kasper, 82, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Jacob was born February 24, 1934 in New York City and was the son of Franklin and Mary (McKay) Kasper. He enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 17 and proudly served his country for 21 years, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After returning, he worked for the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home for 30 years. He married Eileen Kasper at the age of 21, she predeceased him 1990.
Jacob is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Elizabeth A. (Stewart) Kasper; his loving children, Franklin Kasper, Getl Leia Kasper, Gerald Kasper, Peter DeMasi, Joe and Kerri DeMasi, and Ricky Wilmer; his cherished grandchildren, Sossa Starshine, Amanda Saltzman Middleton, Matthew Kasper, Alana Kasper, Halie DeMasi, Joe DeMasi, Jr., Adriana Primett, Ronald Dean and Jayden Sota; and four great grandchildren.
