Jack W. Reckner

OLD CHATHAM- Jack W. Reckner, age 77, passed away December 4, 2025 at Greene Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Ballston Spa, NY, the son of the late John and Dorothy Reckner. He was also predeceased by his sister Brenda Nusser. 

Jack was a high school graduate. He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Machinist/Tool Die Maker from the Watervliet Arsenal. Jack loved his music and nature, as well as his four grandchildren, motorcycles and playing games and solving problems. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol A. Reckner; his daughters: Katrina Langlois and Shannon Reckner; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Sunday December 28, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend his services at the funeral home following at 2:00 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be held at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871 on Monday December 29, 2025 at 10 a.m.
