Inge (Schnitzer) Panko, 98, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Capital Living Nursing & Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side.

Inge was the daughter of the late Karl and Else (Harder) Feddersen.
She was a devoted wife to the late Karl Paul Schnitzer and later of the late Boris Panko.

Inge was a very talented artist who painted with acrylic and watercolors and also created collages from her homemade paper. She also taught local workshops to seniors in both New York and Florida. She was an avid golfer, loved gardening, bike riding and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents and her two husbands Inge was predeceased by her sisters, Elsbeth, Antje, Frauke, Grete and Maren.

Inge is survived by her three sons, Peter J. (Helen), Klaus (Sabine) and Carl (Judy) Schnitzer. She is the proud grandmother of Karl (Carol), Paul, Mark (Marie), Eric (Jenna), Todd, Nika and Martin Schnitzer. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; Andrew, Trevor and Myalin; her brother and sister, Harro and Eva and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
