On Saturday January 31, 2026 Hoyt V. Frasier departed this life and entered into eternal rest.
Hoyt was a kind, beautiful, awesome and loving, husband, daddy, brother, uncle, role model, friend and confidant. He was a deep thinker, tremendous provider, protector, and truly one of a kind.
He was born in Schenectady, NY to the late Stephen and Pauline Frasier. Hoyt accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at the African Methodist Episcopal Zion church. He graduated from Knott Terrace High School, served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Hoyt was employed with Ehrlich Automotive early in his career and retired in 1999 from United Parcel Service as a commercial driving engineer.
In 1960 he married the late Margaret E. “Pinky” Frasier and they made their home in Clifton Park. To this union were born two children: Charz and Quiznn Frasier.
Hoyt was dearly loved by many. He was known for his sense of humor, generosity, integrity, kindness, charisma, strength and his beautiful smile.
Hoyt was a phenomenal driver, mechanic, and loved driving in any kind of weather condition. His pastimes included living the RV life, reading, watching nature shows, and listening to music. He loved children and always wanted to make sure that they were seen and felt heard. He thoroughly enjoyed helping people and would often ask, “Is there anything I can do for you?” To all who knew him, when parting ways he would often say, “Be good.” He embraced being Uncle Hoyt, the man, the myth, the legend. There is so much that will be missed about him.
He was predeceased by his wife, parents, and all five of his siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters Charz and Quiznn Frasier, nieces, nephews, God granddaughter and birthday buddy Shelley Burton, and a host of family and friends.
