Henrietta J. Paretta

Henrietta J. Paretta, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home on February 5, 2026.Born in Harpersfield, New York, 

Henrietta was the daughter of the late Henry and Maude Wheeler. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick Paretta.

Henrietta was a woman of deep faith whose life was guided by her strong religious beliefs. She found great joy in helping others and was known for her kindness and generosity, especially toward her family. She was an avid horse racing fan, enjoyed playing bingo, and spent many years working as a teller at OTB in East Greenbush, where she was well known and warmly regarded.

She is survived by her four children: John Paretta, Donald Paretta, David Paretta, and Dina Paretta. Henrietta was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, services will be private.
