Albany – Hector V. Cardosa, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Columbia Hospital, New Jersey. Hector was born in Baracoa, Cuba, on June, 1939.
Hector was a Christian man who had a serving disposition. He worked for the Holiday Inn in Springfield, MA, where he received several recognitions.
Hector is survived by his sisters, Carmen, Irma and Mariana, and his brother, Tony. He is also survived by his nieces, Mariana, Cristina, Mariela, and Nydia; nephews, David and Misael Morales, whom all reside in the USA; and many others in Cuba.
He is predeceased by a brother, Jose Cardosa from California, and two sisters, Carmen and Silvia from Cuba.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Third Reformed Church, 20 Ten Eyck Ave., Albany, 12209. A Funeral Service will be officiated by Rev. M. Rodriguez. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany, NY.
