MALTA-Heather L. Bickel, 47, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born in Albany, NY the daughter of Dominick Arbitrio and Diane Arbitrio. Heather was employed at Siena College as an Enrollment Data Specialist. She enjoyed kayaking, the outdoors and volunteering her time with horses. She was a Dreamwork facilitator, Mentor for Alchemy, Experimental Learning Guide and a Second Degree Reiki. Heather was a devoted loving mother to Matthew, Jacob and Kathryn. She was a devoted wife to Stephen D. Bickel for 17 years. Heather is also survived by her brothers Mark and Jon.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie with a memorial service to follow at 5 pm.
