DELMAR_Harry Basil Townsend, 48, passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2016.
He was born on April 6, 1967 to Basil and Thalia (Denesides) Townsend in Albany, NY. Harry was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Harry is survived by his children, Jessica Wetherby, Gabrielle Townsend, Zachary Townsend, Meghan Townsend; his mother, Thalia Townsend; brothers, Evangelos (Theresa) Townsend, Eric Townsend; sisters, Rena (Nicholas) Condoulis, Beverly (John) Giles; nieces, Jenna Townsend, Faith Townsend; nephew, Evan Townsend; loving girlfriend, Annette Bennett; and friends, Stacy Wetherby (Jessica), Georgia Townsend (Gabrielle and Zachary) and April Ostrander (Meghan).
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10am at the New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will take place following the funeral service at Bethlehem Cemetery.
