Ft. Lauderdale- Harold "Hal" Allen, 73, died peacefully on January 14, 2018 with family by his side at Holy Cross Hospital, Ft Lauderdale, Fl after a long struggle with complications from Lupus. Hal was the son of the late Jacob "Jack" and Rose Allen
He loved to spend time with his family, extended family and dogs. Hal was a loving Father, PaPa and GG Pop. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Moose.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Jean of 43 yrs; children: Traci Grail (John), Chiara Wiggins (Andy), and Nathan Allen; his grandchildren: Jason (Kimberly), Alicia-Lynn, Savannah, Dakota, Johnny, and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Janna and Jacob.
In addition to his parents, Hal was predeceased by his daughter Janna Ilene Allen, and his brothers, Mardy and Joe.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at New Comer Cremations &
Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205. A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 18, 2018 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service.
