Harold A. Wilson

Voorheesville — Harold A. Wilson, 83, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026. Born on July 6, 1942, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late William and Florence Wilson.

Harold graduated from Arlington High School and continued his education at Boston University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He dedicated 34 years to teaching social studies and mathematics at Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School, where he positively impacted generations of students. Following his retirement from teaching, Harold worked at Macy’s.

Harold enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, reading, walking, square dancing, and round dancing. He was a devoted fan of the Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots. A faithful member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Harold served on the Vestry and as an usher for many years.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Claire Wilson, and his sister, Florence Wilson.

Harold is survived by his loving daughter, Sarah (Miguel) Curet; his cherished grandchildren, Miguel, Jessica, Maliya, Julian, Elijah, Deianera, and Rhaenyra; six great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday May 28, 2026, held St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 21 Hackett Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
