Guy E. Jordan

Guy E. Jordan, 56, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on June 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Gloversville, New York, Guy was the beloved son of Kerry and Brenda Jordan. He was a devoted partner to Sheldon Collins, with whom he shared a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Guy looked forward to spending time with his parents and often said, "My parents are the best. It's because of them that I am who I am today!"

Guy was an integral and valued member of the team at Earl B. Feiden Appliance in Latham. He was recognized locally and nationally for his kitchen design skills and dedication to customer service. He treasured the friendships and support he found there and deeply appreciated the bonds he built throughout his career. Above all, he considered his coworkers family.

Guy was also co-owner, along with his friend Beth Clark, of Hair Confidant on Central Avenue in Colonie. Hair Confidant is a hair restoration salon dedicated to helping clients achieve the look and confidence they desire. They were also devoted to supporting cancer patients experiencing the effects of chemotherapy treatments.

Guy had a passion for boating and spending time at his second home on Burden Lake, where many of his happiest moments were shared with family and friends. He also enjoyed relaxing with a well-crafted Old Fashioned, often sharing stories and laughter with those he loved.

In addition to his parents, Kerry and Brenda Jordan, and his loving partner, Sheldon Collins, Guy leaves behind countless extended family members and friends whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his two cherished dogs, Buddy and Bella. They were truly his world, and he spoiled them every chance he had. Their companionship brought him endless happiness and comfort throughout his life.

Guy will be remembered for his strength, kindness, sense of humor, and the love he gave so freely to his family, friends, coworkers, and beloved pets. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.

In lieu of flowers, Guy requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
