Grace Ann Ferandino

Grace Ann Ferrandino, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Grace was the daughter of the late Howard and Alice Gerg. Grace was the devoted wife of over 33 years, to Dominick J. Ferrandino.

Grace worked for many years in the food industry.

Grace had a love for life. She was an avid animal lover especially for dogs. She loved nature and spent most of her life camping. She enjoyed gardening, swimming, ice skating, and sleigh riding. Grace also had a love for Harley motorcycles. She had a passion for traveling and meeting people. The holidays were always her favorite because she loved decorating and cooking. Grace was also a shopper and loved finding great deals. She was most happy spending time with family and friends. But her greatest joy in life was being called Grammy. Grace loved spending time with her grandsons. Her favorite memories will always be her day excursions and overnight trips with her grandsons.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, James and Paul Gerg and her step-son, Joseph Ferrandino.

Grace is survived by her husband Dominick, her daughter, Sara (Paul) Vroman. She is the proud grandmother of Pauly and Alexander Vroman, she is also survived by two brothers, a half-sister, step-daughter, Patricia and six step-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 on Thursday August 27, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 in Grace's memory.
