Gordon G. Proskine

December 15, 1958 — April 12, 2018

Latham- Gordon G. Proskine, 59, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Thursday, April 12, 2018. He is the son of Teresa and the late Gordon V. Proskine. In addition to his mother, Gordon is survived by his wife, Susan L. Proskine and their two children, Rachel Regina Proskine and Eric Vitaly Proskine.

Gordon is also survived by his brother in law, John Sipp (Kim) and sister in law, Jayne Roberts (Wayne) and several nieces and nephews.

Gordon received his Bachelor's degree in accounting from RIT and worked for several years as a CPA for KPMG before taking an executive position at Garden Way in Troy which he enjoyed for 20 years. Gordon never lost his passion and enjoyment of the "good things in life" such as cars, food, wine, travel and music. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to STRIDE Adaptive Sports, 4482 NY-150, West Sand Lake, NY 12196, in Gordon's name.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189. A celebration of life will begin at 6:00pm
