Gloria M. Moak,78, passed away on January 26, 2026 at the Delmar Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, following a prolonged illness.

Gloria attended St. Agnes Elementary School in Cohoes, Keveny Memorial Academy, and Mildred Elley Secretarial School. She spent many years working for the New York State Public Service Commission before retiring. Gloria loved movies and enjoyed traveling, including a memorable trip to Hawaii. An accomplished singer like her mother, she starred in her high school musical, My Fair Lady. She had a deep love for cats and raised many throughout her life, including her beloved Shamrock. Gloria was a thoughtful and caring person, full of love and light, who cherished her many friends. She remained optimistic and fought bravely to stay with us for as long as she could, right up until the end.

She was predeceased by her Father, Charles, and her Mother, Gloria,

Gloria is survived by her younger brother ,Charles (Lauren); She resided with her lifelong friend, Mary Moosman, Mary’s son George, and her niece Allie, who provided love and support up to the end. She adored her nephews, Ryan (Lisa) and Adam enjoying birthdays and holidays. She also leaves behind her dear friend Rita Richie, whom she talked to daily.

Services will be determined at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
