Giuseppe A. Arno

Albany- Arno, Giuseppe Antonino "Joe Pippo", age 57 passed away on February 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and dear friends.

Born in Messina Sicily, July 5, 1960 to Antonino and Vita Arno. After graduating college Joe ventured to "America" when he was just 21 beginning a career as a foreign car mechanic with Tim Smith, and at the age of 29 opened his business of 28 years J & A Auto Repair. Not only was J & A known for excellent service for mechanical work it soon became the meeting place for friends to gather creating the J & A Family Circle of Friends, and a few furry friends too. All were welcome to discuss current events, sports, politics, or the gossip of the day, as Joe would like to say "Only in America". Joe loved making wine, homemade Sopressata, and especially his Sunday Italian dinners with family and his extended circle of family friends.

Joe is survived by his wife Michele of 30 years, his son Antonino "Nino" of Westmere, his daughters GioVita and Kristin Kelly of Albany. His sister Catalina, (Paulo) of Messina Sicily. His grand children, Giuseppe, and Gabriella Arno, Allana, Shaun Michael, and Zachary Kelly, and his nieces Jiusy and Antonella of Messina Sicily.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, February 25th.
