Gerald W. Muzzy

It is with deep sorrow that we share that we have lost on our oldest brothers. On October 5th, Gerald Muzzy passed from this life in to the next to join our Mom and Dad Benny and Betsy Muzzy, our brother Kevin and others who have passed. 

Gerald struggled the last few months but fought back until his body no longer had the strength to fight. He lived a good life. He loved to hunt, fish and garden. When our mother passed in 2016, he learned to cook and clean the house, always making sure the kitchen floor and bathroom were mopped when he knew someone was coming over. He was not actively involved in family gatherings but known to be in the next  room where he knew everything that was going on. Gerald mattered to us, we hope he knows that. He is loved and will be deeply missed. We catered to him and struggled to keep his spirits up when there was nothing more we could do for him. 

He is survived by his brothers Michael and Tim, sisters Charlene, Darlene, Liz and Dawn as well as 6 nieces and 3 nephews, 11 grandnieces and 10 grandnephews. 

We lift him up unto the Lord and ask that his soul be comforted and at peace. 

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services and we hope that you will take some to remember moments you spent with him.
