Georgia M. Pickens

Georgia Pickens 79, of Albany, NY passed away peacefully on Nov 10, 2017 at Albany Memorial Hospital.

Georgia was born in Ellerbe, NC on November 6, 1938 to the late Grady and Mary (Stanback) Ingram. She grew up in Ellerbe where she graduated Mineral Springs High School in 1957 before moving to New York.

Georgia is predeceased by both her parents and husband, Isom Pickens, Sr.

She is survived by her children Isom Pickens, Jr of Albany, NY, Ivan Pickens of Sicklerville, NJ and Rosemary Pickens of Albany, NY; her siblings Booker T. Ingram of Hilton Head, SC, Kathlyn Moody of Pittsfield, MA, Johnsie Ingram of North Carolina, Gracie Washington of Colonie, NY, Grady Ingram of Albany, NY and Gladys McCormick of North Carolina. Georgia had a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
