George D. Garmley, Jr.

Watervliet - George D. Garmley, Jr., 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late George D. Garmley, Sr. and Rose Garmley. George was a devoted husband to the late Theodora Marie Garmley. They were lifetime partners for 54 years. 

George enlisted in the Army where he served proudly until his honorable discharge. 

George is survived by his siblings, Dale R. Garmley, Dawn Marie (Issamay) Garmley, Dorsey Mallery, Donna Garmley, and Daniel F. Garmley, Sr.; four stepchildren; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many additional family members.
