Gary G. Hurteau

Gary G. Hurteau, 74, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2025, at Albany Medical Center. Born on March 2, 1951, in Hartford, Connecticut, Gary lived a life characterized by his helpful and genuine nature.

As a father, Gary was known as a great dad, albeit a tough one, embodying the values of old school parenting that instilled strength and resilience. He devoted his time to teaching his son football, baseball and life's lessons

Gary was also a man of strong interests and passions. He had a profound love for sports, particularly the New York Yankees, Dale Earnhardt, and the Oakland Raiders, although his loyalty shifted when the Raiders moved.

Gary was predeceased by his father Erwin, mother Rene, and brother Steven.

He is survived by his son Michael (Lisa), 3 grandchildren and his brother Jeff as well as Carol (An Angel sent from Heaven), that stood by his side through thick and thin for the past 10 years.
