Frederick J. Trombley

SCHENECTADY - Frederick J. Trombley, 88 passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Glendale Home in Glenville.

Frederick was born on September 8, 1936 in Schenectady and was the son of the late Edgar A. and Ellen B. (Shayne) Trombley. He was a film developer for Duracolor in Albany before he retired.

Frederick enjoyed watching his Yankees, Buffalo Bills and sci-fi movies. He was a talented artist and enjoyed traveling, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Frederick is survived by his brother, Donald (Betty) Trombley along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Edgar, William and Burton and his sister, Mary Katherine Dvorscak.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 16th, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment, Memory Gardens, Colonie.

Memorial contributions may be made to Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley, 15 3rd St. Troy, NY 12180 in memory of Frederick J. Trombley.
