Frederick Lovejoy Knauss

Frederick “Erick” Lovejoy Knauss, age 86, of Niskayuna, NY, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 23, 2024. Born on September 14, 1938, Erick was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. 

He dedicated many years as a school psychologist in the Fonda Fultonville Central School District, was a huge nature enthusiast and was a published photographer. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; two children, Derrick and Elizabeth; and three grandchildren, Sophiya, Soleil, and Xena. 

A memorial service will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funerals at 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY Friday, December 27 from 4:30pm-6:30pm,  with a service to follow at 6:30 pm. 

Erick will be extremely missed for his kindness and gentle spirit.
