Frederick Frey

Frederick J. Frey, 50, passed away suddenly on April 28, 2015 at his home.

Fred was born June 30, 1964, in Albany, NY, the son of the late Donald and Margaret Frey.

Fred graduated from Colonie High School with the class of 1982. After graduation he attended and graduated from Hudson Valley Community College. He would later work for Albany International in Albany.

Fred was an avid golfer and a very talented bowler. He was in two bowling leagues; Voorheesville Men's league and NYCAA at Town and Country Lanes. He was also in the Colonie Golf League. He also enjoyed building car models with his sons and finding excellent bargains at garage sales.

Fred is survived by his three sons, Brandon Frey, Justin Frey, and Nathan Frey. He is the brother of Donald (Sandy) Frey, Jr.. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, Erica and Marc Frey, Anthony Mosall and several aunts, uncles and close family and friends, especially his dear friend Karen Elk.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
