Frederick A. Casimo

Frederick A. Casimo, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday,  August 14, 2026 at his home with his loving family by his side. Frederick was the son of the late Frank and Marie Casimo. He was the devoted husband of over 44 years to Theresa Casimo, Frederick was a communicant of St. Pius X Church for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was an avid Yankee fan. He loved spending time with his family and his faith was important to him. He will be remembered for his sense of humor. 

Frederick is survived by his wife, Theresa, he was the proud father of Kathleen (Robert) Rogers, Deborah (Paul) Branigan, Kerry (Aaron) Butler, Frank Casimo, Lisa Plata, Fred Casimo. Loving grandfather of Michelle (John) McNamara, Dawn Schreiner, Patrick (Kimberley) Branigan, Jamie (Chris) Schepisi, Matthew (Emily) Branigan, Kiara Butler, Charlotte Plata and William Plata. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Friday August 21, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Pius X Church. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, New York where he will be laid to rest with his parents. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 in Fred's memory.
