Freda M. Heintz, 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Rainey House Hospice. Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Adella Friebel.
Freda was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Along with her parents, Freda was predeceased by her husband, John F. Heintz and brother Carleton Friebel.
She will be missed by her sons, Keith F. Heintz (Barbara) of Anderson and Robert J. Heintz (Susan)of Walden, NY; sisters Dorothy Knapp of Delmar, NY and Florence Shumway of New Hartford, NY; grandchildren Jeffrey Heintz, Amy Heintz, Craig Callahan and Meghan Rowe; great-grandchildren Abigail, Andrew, Anna, Brennen, Charlotte, Emily and Justin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 12:00 pm at St. John's Cemetery Chapel, 303 Sand Creek Road, Colonie. A calling hour from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm will precede the service at the chapel. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
