Freda M. Decker

Clifton Park - Freda M. Decker, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2016. Freda was the daughter of the late Frederick and Florence Freemire and was the devoted wife to the late Albert E. Decker.
Freda enjoyed boating, camping, and needlework, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Freda is survived by her daughter: Kathleen (Frank) Prud'homme; grandchildren: Cheryl (Patrick) Cahill, and Wendi (Jason) Dickerson; great grandchildren: Kevin and Jaret Benedetto; along with several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Freda is predeceased by her son: Kevin Decker; and siblings: Dorothy Koonz, Charles, and Kenneth Freemire.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The burial will be held following calling hours at the Waterford Rural Cemetery, Waterford, NY, 12188.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Freda's name to the Alzheimer's Association Northeastern New York Chapter at: 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite 405, Albany, NY, 12205.
