EAST GREENBUSH- Franklin E. Mann, age 81, peacefully passed away on April 11, 2026.
He was born in Stamford, NY, the son of the late Edmund H. Mann and Bertha C. Mann. He was also predeceased by his aunt Mary Bellinger.
Frank was a graduate of the Middleburgh Central School District and then was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1967.
He was employed by Local IUOE Local 106, JJP Slipforming and retired from Peter Luizzi Bros. Paving and Asphalt in 2024.
Frank was a 31 year member of the Middleburgh Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years, construction (with his prize possession being his Kenworth dump truck), a cold beer and striking up conversations with strangers.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Vickie Armstrong Mann; his children: Tracy Dailey (Bobbi Jo), Frankie (Judy) Mann, Robert (Sue) Mann and Amber (Eric) Trafton, all of Middleburgh, NY; grandchildren: Steven (Kaitlyn) Dailey, Amy (Jesse) Stewart, Kevin (Lexi) Dailey, Kayla Dailey, Nikki Mann, Kloey, Alexis, Cheyenne, Adalynn Barber and Candace and Ashley Trafton. Also survived by five great grandchildren.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Middleburgh Fire Department, 127 Railroad Ave., Middleburgh, NY 12122.
