Frank A. Nati Jr., 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Frank was the son of the late Frank, Sr. and Margaret Nati.
Frank proudly served with the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950-1953, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for his service. He was a Teamster with the Local 294, working for Preston Trucking for many years before his retirement.
In his younger days he enjoyed going to many dances at the Colonie Elks with his friends.
Frank enjoyed playing golf, trips to Florida for many years and breakfast with other Veterans. He was very involved with the Veterans Patriot Flights out of Albany. He was a proud grandfather attending many of his grandchildren's sporting activities and musical performances. He was a devoted father who cherished the time he spent with his children and grand children. He was a loyal friend to everyone and was always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Josephine Burometto, Jenny Ali, George and Peter Nati and his daughter-in-law Debra Nati.
Frank is survived by his children, Frank Nati, III, Michelle (William) Isles, Robert (Esther) Nati and Lisa (Jeff) Bink. He is the adored grandfather of Lucas (Sydney Stanley) Nati, Jeffrey (Miranda Wissman) and Justin Bink. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, New York on Thursday June 12, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday June 13, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, New York all are invited.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tunnel for Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 in Franks memory.
