Frank G. Decerce Jr.

Slingerlands-Frank G. DeCerce, Jr. Died suddenly January 1, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents Frank G. And Jane DeCerce, Sr.
He leaves his wife Carolyn R. DeGeorge DeCerce, whose life and care he put first every day; step-children who he thought of as his own, Sandy (Wayne) Temme, Richard and Steven (Deana) Mallory. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren Zach & Garrett Temme, Sarah (Max) Morehouse, Stevie, Meghan and Jack Mallory and sisters and brothers in law. A son Brian (Sonya) and grandchildren Christiana and Patrick DeCerce.
He retired from the NYS Senate Communications Office. He has many friends in the No. Bethlehem Fire Department and was Past Chief and presently a Commissioner. Frank was a Navy Veteran who served in Viet Nam. He will be much missed by all of us.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Wednesday, January 6, 2015 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at The Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St, Albany, NY 12208 at 11:00am. A burial will take place at Grove Cemetery, in Delanson, NY this spring.
