No matter the circumstances, he had a remarkable ability to find something to laugh about and could turn almost any situation into an opportunity for a joke. His humor, easygoing nature, and unique way of looking at life brought joy to those around him. It was simply part of who he was, and his family will deeply miss his familiar demeanor, his laughter, and the lighthearted approach he brought to everyday moments.
Frank also had a deep love for music and especially enjoyed singing. Music was one of the many ways he expressed his joy for life, and his voice and love of song will remain cherished memories for those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Beatrice Essien, and their three children, Kemise, Elaine, and William Essien, who will forever treasure the life they shared with him. He is also lovingly remembered by extended family, friends, colleagues, former students, and all whose lives he touched.
