Francis J. Bounds

ALBANY, NY – Francis J. Bounds, 89, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2008 at the Stratton V.A. Medical Center. He was born in Albany and lived in Albany for most of his life. Mr. Bounds was a U.S. Navy veteran and a survivor of Pearl Harbor during World War II. Francis is the beloved husband of the late Exilda Barcomb Bounds. He is the devoted father of John F. (Pat) Bounds of Colonie, Mary (Jon) Hendricksen of Las Vegas, NV, Frances (Bill) Frenette of Wisconsin and Edward D. (Pat) Bounds of North Carolina. Also surviving is his sister, Alberta Stillings of Massachusetts, eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Thursday morning at 11:00 at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, an act of kindness in Francis' name would be appreciated.
