Frances M. Gullinese

Frances Marie Gullinese (Allegra), 85, was born on October 4th, 1940 in Albany, NY to the late Dominic Allegra and the late Wanteta Lacorcia. On September 9th, 2026, Frances passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Colonie, NY. Raised on Krank Street in Albany, she attended Albany City Schools. Frances worked for a number of years at the old Tobin Packing Company in Colonie before meeting and marrying the love of her life Fred Vito Gullinese. Together with Fred, she raised three children starting in Albany then in Colonie. During this time, Frances and Fred ran a prayer ministry at a number of area evangelical churches, where they touched many lives. After 25 years as a homemaker, Frances returned to the workforce as a housekeeping supervisor with the Picotte Company. After nearly 20 years, she left the workforce once again to provide fulltime care to her ailing husband Fred. After Fred’s passing in 2022, Frances lived a quiet life at home socializing with friends and family and continuing to pray for those in need.

Frances is survived by her sister Grace Annello, her children, Peter Gullinese and his wife Marcy, Michael Gullinese, Nicole Gullinese-Pompilio and her husband Frank as well as two wonderful grandchildren, Thomas Gullinese and Davia Pompilio. Services will be held on September 21st, 2026 from 5 pm to 8 pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road in Colonie.
