Florence A. Ruffinen

Florence Ruffinen, 81, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at St. Peter’s Hospital. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Florence will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and love of life.

Florence was the devoted wife of 64 years to her loving husband, Ronald Ruffinen. She is survived by her cherished daughter Rhonda Morgia (Adam); her adored grandchildren Tyler Morgia (Katie) and Chelsea Morgia (Mark Barry); and her precious great-granddaughter Rilyn Kate Morgia. She is also survived by her dear sister Pauline Iwanowicz, and many nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her sisters Anne Burt and Georgiann Berner.

Florence found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, trips to the casino, fishing, and had a lifelong passion for horses and animals. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Services will be private at the request of the family.
