Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Esther was the beloved daughter of David and Rhoda Kansinally. She was raised in a Seventh-day Adventist home - grounded in faith, worship, family and service. Esther immigrated to the United States in 1992. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Cornell University in 2001, then joyfully devoted herself to her most cherished calling: being a loving wife and mother.

A faithful servant, Esther worshiped at Capital City and Kinderhook Seventh-day Adventist Churches, where she served as church treasurer, Sabbath School teacher, youth leader, choir member, Pathfinder supporter, and food pantry volunteer. She also served faithfully with Character Building for Eternity International Prayer Ministry. Esther was known for her calm demeanor, love of hymns, gentle humor, and her ability to make others feel seen and valued

Anchored in the blessed hope of Christ’s return, Esther lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering faith, and deep love for God and her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Benjamin Raphael; her children, Benaiah, Eliel, and Abigail Raphael; her parents, David and Rhoda Kansinally; her sisters, Rhonda (Amery) Walker and Ruth (Kelvin) Bailey; her nieces, Amarie and Azaria Walker; her uncles, Gordon, Leonard, and Samuel Richmond; her husband’s siblings; many cousins; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
