Elvera Lecorchick

ALBANY - Elvera (Caicco) Lecorchick, 101, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Teresian House surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband, William Lecorchick. Daughter of the late Joseph Caicco and Phillipina (Provenzano) Caicco, she was born on July 10, 1924 in Ford City, PA.

Elvera was a stay at home mom to her four children. Her main focus was family including spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was active in the local school lunch program and would volunteer at the hospital. Her hobbies included crafting, ceramics and reading.

Elvera is survived by her children, Karen (Lecorchick) Falzo, Paul (Rachel) Lecorchick. She is also survived by her daughter-in-laws Toni Lecorchick and Nadine Lecorchick and 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband William, she was predeceased by her two sons William and Dennis, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Friends may call Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Elvera’s name to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands.
