Ellen Nichols

Ellen Caulfield Nichols of Troy, NY passed away peacefully on January 15, 2017. Ellen was born on July 19, 1917 to the late James and Catherine (Miller) Caulfield. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Nichols and beloved sons James (Effie), John (Davia) and Tom Doyle.

Ellen is survived by her loving niece Cathy Spizowski, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, great nieces and nephews and dear friend Judy Stone. Ellen's greatest joys were caring for her sons and being surrounded by her loving family.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 20th from 9am to 10am at Historic St. Mary's Church in Albany, followed by a mass of Christian burial.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Peter's Hospice Inn & Eddy Heritage House for their care and support.
