Elizabeth M. Gorman

Elizabeth M. Gorman (Seifts), 82, wife of the late Edward F. Gorman of Latham, passed away Saturday August 22, 2026 at home with her family by her side.

Born May 9, 1944, in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ellen (Bartlett) and Harold Seifts.

She is survived by her children, Edward Gorman (Cathy) of Saratoga, John Gorman (Vicki) of Latham, Colleen Robinson (Dave) of Ballston Lake; her cherished grandchildren, Pat Gorman (Lindsay), Danielle Welch (Jay), Morgan Reynolds (Adam), Amanda Robinson (Russell), and Nick Johnson. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Amelia, Elizabeth, Kyla, Carson, and Hailey, Sister-in-Law, Marilyn Gorman and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Edward, she was predeceased by her Sister, Margaret Whittam, Brother-in-Law James Whittam, Brother-in Law John Gorman, and Daughter-in-Law Louise Gorman.

Elizabeth (Liz) retired from Price Chopper in 2006. Her more enjoyable career was working at Town N Country Lanes, Bowlers Club, and Action Lanes where she made many lifelong friends.

Liz's family meant the world to her. She was very proud of her children,

grandchildren, and great grandchildren, "who she loved to spoil."

Liz enjoyed vacations to Lake George, Casino trips, and family parties. She loved entertaining and surprising everyone with her crazy antics! She was loved by many and created so many funny and cherished memories that we are all grateful for.

Visiting hours will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm immediately followed by a celebration of Liz’s life at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet.
