DELMAR-Elaine Morrissey, 88, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2017.
Elaine was a devoted wife and mother and was a caregiver to many people in her lifetime. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, spending time at her house at the lake and family gatherings. Elaine was full of life, she always had a smile and a sweet treat for anyone who came to visit her. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and devotion to her family.
Elaine is survived by her children, Donna (Colin), William, Patricia and Christopher (Kathy); her 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons; her nieces, Ann and Mary; nephew, Richard and her other extended family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, William D. Morrissey, in 1993.
A funeral service for Elaine will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 12:00pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be held at a later date at Rensselaerville Cemetery.
