Edward J. Moutray III, a respected figure in the construction industry and a dedicated family man, passed away on February 18, 2026, in Vermont. Born on January 23, 1949, in Albany, Edward was a native of Colonie, where he spent much of his life.

As a proud Vietnam Veteran, Edward served his country with honor. His quiet and low-key demeanor endeared him to those who knew him, highlighting a steadfast character marked by determination and sincerity. 

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Lee; his siblings, William, and his wife, Kathy, James, Michael, Peter, and Donna as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Edward also leaves behind the cherished memory of his parents, Edward J. and Mary Lou Moutray, as well as his sisters, Mary Moutray and Gail LeDuke, who predeceased him.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to St Jude. 

A visitation will be held on Friday February 27th from 12pm-1pm with a service at 1pm. 

Interment to follow in the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery.
