ALBANY- Edward A. Memoly, 97, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018, surrounded by the love of his family.
Mr. Memoly was born on Staten Island, NY, to the late Joseph and Anna Memoly, on August 20, 1920. He served his country honorably in The United States Army Air Force during World War II, for 20 months in Europe. After his service he returned to join the family business, Memoly Motors, on Staten Island. He later worked as a Real Estate Agent in South Jersey. Mr. Memoly was a Past Commander of James S. Slosson Post 53, American Legion, Staten Island.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor in 1967, and by his second wife, Anne, in 1998.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Marie (Ron) Bruschi, and his granddaughters, Louisa (Robert) Newman Triggs, and Johanna (Manny Gomez) Newman, his great granddaughter, Maddie Lee Gomez, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
